What does poverty mean for children??

Poverty on children has a somewhat detrimental effect on children. Poor children risk the fact of having a bad health and bad developmental stage. With little income circulating around the household certain things take a toll on children. For example, their physical health are at lower stages than non poor children. They may have low birth weight or some type of deformity due to the fact that the mother isn't taken proper care of herself because she doesn't have sufficient funds. The mother may have had the child at a young age (leaving the mother to be a single parent) causing her to not be able to take care of her child the properly and orderly way. This may mean the mother not being able to put her child in a proper, "good" school system leaving the child to have a slow ability to learn new information or teachers are not actually giving a damn to improve kids learning abilities. Leading children to not actually complete high school and turning to bad behaviors; which may cause them to have some sort of emotional problems.
